Abstract | IMPORTANCE: Genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) consists of genitourinary tract symptoms that occur due to physical changes caused by estrogen concentrations decline after menopause. Unlike menopausal symptoms, which subside with time, GSM symptoms persist throughout a woman's life. |
